Hi! I’m Audrey Bjorklund, founder of Aumn.

I was lucky enough to be raised in a family where meditation became the norm when I was quite young. I got my first official lessons in meditation when I was 8 years old, getting a “baby mantra” to start practicing transcendental meditation. While I believe this practice is very powerful, its head-centric nature and desire to “transcend the body” versus more deeply inhabit the body to get a deeper experience in this earth life, led me to focus more on body-based meditation methods.

There is so much messaging in society and historical stories trying to get women to want to change their bodies and feel as though they are not fully their own. I have seen many women struggle with their connection to who they are, making them feel very disconnected from the body that carries them through this life. I believe this deep disconnection from self plays a key role in many women not being able to embody their full potential and lead their own experiences and life from the most authentic place.

It is my deepest and most passionate mission in this life to help women re-integrate what it means to self-lead from their authentic balance of being feminine and fully connected to the core of their soul and its great vision for this epic life on Earth. Through deep inner connection, self-understanding, and an ability to trust in the flow of all we are, so we can reach the potential of our wildest dreams.

This is just the start of my journey and hopefully our journey together.

I hold a great vision for humanity and all the life that makes up our Earth collective. To REMEMBER who we are and fully express it with love, as the best gift we can give in this life.

Thank you so much for being open and curious about who you are. Thank you for all the little ways you embrace yourself with love to show up more fully as your whole self every day. The light you bring to the world though living in alignment with your most authentic self makes a bigger impact than you know.

So much love, from all of me to all of you.

A few few more notes of gratitude from me

Aumn was created as a part of my Honors Senior Thesis Project for the University of San Diego.

Thank you so much to the Honors Department for the opportunity to create this interdisciplinary project.

Thank you to my advisor Justine Farrell, for the many classes of yours I took, and for guiding me through this digital marketing project.

Thank you to all the spiritual and meditation teachers I have had over the years, whose teachings and lessons have helped me create a life where I can feel confident knowing that being my whole amazing self is the best thing I can do for the world. While I still have a ways to go, your teachings, guidance, and support have changed my life irrevocably.

Thank you to my parents, whose unending support and love have given me the opportunities to more easily embrace all I am and follow my dreams and soul calling.

Thank you to my siblings, for our journeys together and the encouragement of each other. I'm so grateful to have you in my life.

To all of you out there, who are on your own journey of self-discovery and self embodiment, thank you. Thank you for doing the work. Thank you for being yourself. Thank you for learning how to approach the world from a place of unconditional love for all its beings, including yourself.
